NIDO STELLA TETRA PAK

The Stella Nursery School, inaugurated in February 2005, is the result of a project conceived and promoted by Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions S.p.A., a global leader in its sector.

In agreement with the Municipality of Modena, the company built an environmentally sustainable facility that reflects the corporate philosophy for which it is known.

The name Stella derives from the star shape of the building itself, which represents one of the first examples of green architecture developed in Italy.

Since the 2017–2018 school year, the nursery has been managed by Panta Rei Social Cooperative.

Thanks to its extensive expertise in the educational and pedagogical field, Reggio Children S.r.l. was selected by Tetra Pak to provide consultancy services for the development of Stella Nursery School’s educational and pedagogical project. Building on the pedagogical guidelines established by Reggio Children—which oversaw pedagogical supervision and staff training at Stella Nursery School from September 2017 to July 2025—Panta Rei developed an educational and pedagogical project whose core values are inspired by and interpreted through the Reggio Emilia Approach.

The nursery’s areas of inquiry and exploration, which emerge and evolve through ongoing dialogue and continuity over time, are closely connected to Tetra Pak’s values, emphasizing nature, environmental awareness, sustainability, and innovation.
