Choreia is Greek name chosen by teachers, pedagogists and parents for its lightness, sound, and literal meaning that refers to a dance made by a chorus of voices, a metaphor for thoughts that are in constant motion.
Choreia is located in Reggio Emilia inside an autonomous building, renovated to accommodate the school. Large windows make the spaces very bright and in constant relationship with the outdoors. The green area is located in the appliances behind the school.
Choreia promote the educational continuity 0-6 years: families can enroll children in the infant-toddler center and continue the experience at the preschool without reapplying to the municipality.

EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH
Educational and pedagogical researches are open to the languages and experimentation of children's words and poetic languages. Experiencing the contemporary time and open up to new visions, savoring insights, allowing oneself to be amazed, playing with what one encounters, asking questions and asking them of those one encounters.
ATELIER
There is an atelier and a full-time atelierista who is part of the working group in the every day activities with children and colleagues. Each section host a mini-atelier that has been given different identities to give value in each space to children's research.
KITCHEN
Choreia host an in-house kitchen . Lunch and snacks are prepared by the kitchen staff of the Panta Rei Cooperative. The menu of the Reggio Emilia municipal nurseries and preschools is adopted on a four-week basis with seasonal variations.
A special table is in operation for lunches by reservation from the daily children's menu, for parents, grandparents and friends from 1 p.m..

Enrollments are possible online in accordance with methods and times indicated by Istituzione Nidi e scuole dell'infanzia del Comune di Reggio Emilia, approximatively in January for preschool enrollments, in April for infant toddler center enrollments.
PRIVATE ENROLLMENTS
The school offers No. 9 places for private enrollment 0-3 years old.
